Objective: Calculate the required personnel and resources needed to fulfill service promise agreed with customer. Methods materials: This paper presents a discrete event simulation (DES) model developed select implement Point of Sale (POS) for company providing financial products. First, shows characterization system components times per process. Then, hypothesis testing goodness-of-fit statistics are estimated. Subsequently, scenarios assess between arrivals number commercial advisers. Results discussion: allows us allocation promise, which is that 80 % customers must be served within one hour or less. provided isoquants allowing observe behavior performance metrics (service fulfillment) among different scenarios. Conclusions: The use DES techniques evaluation assignment achieve fulfillment including facilities, equipment, related processes. These methods can extended analysis resource in development other processes, observing relationship quality operating costs.
